The Webmistress
I've been writing stories in general since 1999, and have only recently posted my work online. Right now I am twenty-one years old, I'm going into my Junior year of college and am working in the elementary education field so I can one day become a teacher. My other goal is to one day publish one of my fantasy novels.
** 2001 - 2003
These were my fanfiction years. I mostly delved into the anime of Inuyasha (like all the other hoards of Inuyasha fans at the time) and wrote many fanfics, two of which are actually note worthy. One called the Ship of Dreams, which was uploaded in December of 2002, and then Dreaming of Wildflowers, which was originally uploaded in August of 2003. Both of these linked stories were never finished.
** 2002 - Current
My first Fantasy story was written, and never finished, in 2002. I originally started it on a passing urge, but faded due to the story "sucking" in general. Around a year later in May of 2003, I decided to try the original fantasy story again, only this time I asked a close friend of mine if she wanted to help be write it. She agreed, and the story of Ronin Bouken was created. The name is basically two japanese words smashed together, with no care for grammer rules at all. Ronin is a warrior with no Master, while Bouken is similar to "Adventure". It was only a year or two later when I discovered the title was completely wrong, and it should have been something like "Ronin wa Bouken desu" (that's probably wrong too, its been 2 years since my last japanese lesson). Ronin Bouken was originally created to see if I could actually finish an epic fantasy story, since all of my others were unfinished.
My next story, TimeScar, came about soon after Ronin Bouken ended in May of 2004. TimeScar initially was a very dark story, which was a personal challenge to me, as well as an emotional outlet of sorts, since my life was hard around this time. (I'll spare you the gory details and get right on with the rest of the information). However, when the end of TimeScar finally came in May of 2005, I was ready for something different. Although I did write a side story, which is Crimson Dreams, which is the History of Seiji and Kyouji, but I never finished it due to my interest failing in it. Thats where SoulsStorm, my current ongoing novel, came in. SoulsStorm is my main project right now, but I do have a side project that I do spend some time on, which is Last of the Elves (July 2006).
